This competition is open to any young woman in her Junior Year in High School provided she resides in Springfield Township.
To be a participant you MUST have parental permission, submit the completed application and attach a photo of yourself by May 20, 2023 via email to patdavis19@gmail.com
Upon receipt of applications, we will have interviews. The contestants will be reduced to three finalists. Again, based on the conditions, June 19, 2023 will be the final interview either live or on-line, at which time Miss Oreland Lions will be selected.
Miss Oreland Lion and her court will be in the Oreland Lions 4th of July Parade. Miss Oreland Lion will represent the Lions at our major events between July 4th and concluding at the 2024 competition. Major events include the December Tip Off Basketball Tournament, Christmas Party, Special Guest night in February, Easter Egg Hunt, Charter Day breakfast and other mutually agreed upon events.
Miss Oreland Lion is a long-standing tradition, and we hope you will help keep this tradition of honoring young ladies who demonstrate the “We Serve” motto of the Lions.
